TowerByte eG Jena is a company business association of 28 independent member companies. The organization’s forte is e-commerce and its individual companies are specialized in the different facets of this field: From the development of online shop software, to mail order solutions, mobile applications and online marketing, to web design.

The decisive factors in making TowerByte a cooperative were the freedom and room for innovation provided for the companies involved. At the same time, the consortium offers a secure context: Resources are utilized and infrastructure provided and managed together, for example. The cooperative’s headquarters is in the JenTower.
