The association Leipziger Jahresausstellung e.V. was re-founded in February 1992 and draws on the tradition of Leipziger Jahressaustellung (LIA), which was chaired by Max Klinger from 1912 to 1927. Its goal is to continue the tradition of private art promotion in the city and organize an annual exhibition and catalogue for artists and guest from Leipzig. Approximately 100 members belong to the association.
