The wine producing country Israel has presented itself regularly at the world’s largest industrial trade fair for wine and spirits, "ProWein" in Düsseldorf. The collective appearance of the most well-known Israeli wineries at ProWein is organized by the Israel Export Institute in Tel Aviv. Founded in 1958 as a joint venture between the Israeli government and the private sector, the institute is tasked with promoting Israeli exports in cooperation with various foreign partners.
In its communication activities in the German-speaking market, the Israel Export Institute relied on the support of Bestsidestory for their ProWein presentations in 2009 and 2011.
