With the founding of the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) in 2006, various professors of computer science and information systems at the University of Leipzig came together in order to promote related science and research.
To this end, the InfAI carries out interdisciplinary research projects, the results of which are made available to the general public and end up being utilized in subsequent teaching and research at the University of Leipzig.
